Happy Halloween

tonight was Halloween yes it is not an aussie tradition and as we are also in the southern hemasphere it should be celebrated at the end of autumn but it is the end of Spring ( almost)

my Girls love dressing up for it and we have done it even just for other kids even in NSW

this year we all went out and had a ball

Australia Zoo

this weekend we had a great day out again Thanks To Camp Quality South Queensland.
it was an early start as we had a two hour drive from Ipswich and wanted to enjoy the park before it got to hot, arrived just after 9am and went through both the Clem 7 and new Brisbane Airport tunnels ( yes have fee's for that but so many less traffic lights to deal with)

on arrival it was straight into it and we wanted to see as much as possible,
we went through the snake area a bird Avery and the koala's plus Kangaroos and then to see the elephants and Tigers and off to AFRICA to finally see Alex's first Giraffe and zebra's 9 Both Girls favourite animals  after Horses lol)

then back through the wetlands and to the Colosseum to see the show after lunch

seeing all the birds and snakes was fun then the Croc's came out first the Big Guy ( Tiny but was cute to watch him put on a show and then the biggest they have,
then we went back for some rides as well as the kids zoo and other areas and then we also got up close and Persona;l with the tortoise and got a photo of that too

so another great Day out with CQ and it was just me with the Girls but still we had a wonderful time we went through the two tunnels both ways and we arrived back close to home with a massive storm  but made it home safe

then Alex had an accident on mummies bed ( playing trampoline on it :s) she hit her head on the head board so will keep an eye but think she will be ok ♥

Max our Family Pet

Max is our neighborhood Magpie that visits us, he has been stopping by since he was a young bird out of the nest with his Mamma.

now we see him and his lady friend who is nesting somewhere close, they did swoop Alex once when she was on her bike, but more a check than a threat as she had her Bike helmet on and they didn't know her like that and swoop the posty often
