ஜ۩۞۩ஜ ....HAPPY NEW ÝEAR ....٩(-̮̮̃-̃)۶ ஜ۩۞۩ஜ ♪♫•*¨*•.¸¸❤¸¸.•*¨*•♫♪♪♫•*¨*•.¸¸❤¸¸.•*¨*•♫♪

My last post for 2010 and wishing everyone a Happy New year hope you all have a wonderful 2011

This last week was a slow one which is good as on the 5th Jan we have another scan and Dr trip I am trying to not think about over the festive time, with little luck. Alex has a big lump on her lower leg looks like a bite but is very sore and itchy so will be watching it to see that it goes down not up. has not stopped her from running around like a mad person, I am so happy to see her back to a healthy 6 year old enjoying life.
Christmas was good quiet but good, I did finally miss dad as last year I was so busy with everything with Alex its like this Christmas is the first but it is the second :(  have been crying over the smallest things too

On Wednesday we had another Christmas night with a family from Alex's school nothing big but nice for the girls to get out and hubby to have a drink or 6 lol, we also got given a DS for Robyn's Birthday in 23 days can not believe she will be 4 so soon.

Thursday morning was a shocker I found Rainbow Chicken Crowing ( well croaking ) but we now know he is a boy and we can not keep him for much longer so we found a hatchery near by that we can get 2 more black chicks for the girls and when they are old enough to stay outside Lee-lee will still have company and Rainbow will be re-homed. Alex will be calling the new one Rainbow 2 lol bet they both get rainbow something, but these will be 90% female and one day old so tiny chicks again for us to deal with ♥

New Years Eve will be quiet like normal, we watched the fireworks on TV at 9pm the girls stayed up for them Robyn crashed before they finished and Alex was in bed just after ♥ :) but hope the new year brings new adventures of the good kind and family fun ♥

Alex and Robyn with Lee-lee and Rainbow. 28th Dec 2010

bad news is Rainbow is a boy but still waiting on him to really crow properly the pathetic attempt will be recorded soon, soon its Bye bye Boy we are getting 2 more one day olds chicks next week so they will be old enough to keep Lee-lee company before Rainbow leaves I hope.

☆ ☆ ☆ ~ ♥ Christmas wishes to all ♥ ~ ☆ ☆ ☆

    Merry Christmas Everyone ♥♥

just a small update and photos of the girls ♥

yesterday was the 20th anniversary of My cousin who passed away from Lung cancer and other issues but was sad as it made me see how many I was missing this Christmas, but also how glad I am to have my princess still here to smile ♥, and her little sister to buss me around hehe.  was just thinking 21 months ago Alex was given 6 months if she was not treated and well here we are 21 months later and fighting hard and doing great...

today we were suppose to spend with some wonderful friends we have known for years but due to the girls getting exposed to chicken pox it was decided to leave it again and not risk their family and friends if my girls do get them, so we went to the mess for lunch it was through Hubbies work. just wanted the girls to behave lol (yeah Right when do 3 and 6 year olds sit still lol).

We didn't do the normal Christmas Morning with Daddy dressed as Santa and Mummy in her Mrs Clause hoody as well just didn't feel right today but we had a great time unwrapping the presents. We unwrapped presents on video hehe and got rubbish into the bins for Sundays bin night, the girls enjoyed all they got as Santa also gave them a large older style Rocking horse a friend gave us to paint etc.

it is still raining with the rivers rising around here but we are doing well and enjoying our time together ♥

it is now after 2pm and we are relaxing at home watching the girls enjoy their new gifts and playing, was a great day and we are thankful ♥

Robyn's Graduation day

last Friday would have also been Robyn's Class Graduation day but as we also had Alex's surgery she missed it, she is not actually graduating but she went from a kindergarten (kindy pink) to pre-schooler even though they bumped her up half way through the year as they needed her spot in kindy pink. She also got a photo etc so thought it nice to post about here on here to she is still a big part of this family and we have never left her out, she had pre-school today but wanted to stay with mummy although she has a great time and it is only one day a week, she is staying in this room for the next 12 months then school in 2012.

OMG where did my baby go, I missed so much with all the hospital trips and so forth, poor Robyn has been dragged through the works and watched her sister go through all this, at one stage she wanted her own port but she settled for a shadow port (make believe)  this was hard on her as well as us all but how does a 2 year old tell us they understand what they see going on around them.
Alex and Robyn January 2009 Robyn's 2nd Birthday "Before cancer"
December 2010 almost 2 years later she is 4 next month

on another note I am now needing more cloths for Miss Alex she has gone up 2 sizes (more the growth up not out) but she looks so healthy now to. Do I dare think we are now back to normal  (well as normal for a cancer Kids family as it can get) the girls have been playing and having so much fun outside and yes sun block is being used by the bucket load as Alex is higher risk to skin cancer now ARGH gotta love the Aussie sun but we do have a lot of shaded areas in our back yard and girls always wear hats etc :)

Toy run 2010

we missed the Toy Run last year as we got home from our Clear day thanks to CCS and arrived back in our area to see them riding out and then had to rush out again for the Make-a-wish Christmas party on the other side of Brisbane, so this year we actually penciled in the date in the diary and as Alex had surgery on the Friday she was still recovering and this was close to home made it a good day out with no added stress to anyone. hoping for no rain was our only concern due to Alex not needing to get sick now she had her Port removed on Friday :)
Hubby should have been doing this one but next year will as they collect toys for needy children :)

I feel happy in getting some answers from Alex's surgeon on Friday as when she lost her kidney etc in may 2009 they put a staple in so when scanned any time they have a marker due to these tumors hiding in the lower abdomen and CT, MRI or X Ray will pick tit up. I was worried about MRI's etc as if its magnetic may cause future issues but now have my mind at ease as it is Titanium and will not magnetize in any way, and will last her lifetime.

13 days to Christmas and may you all have a great day ♥♥♥♥
