New Update

Well I have been busy of late and have neglected this blog so am going to try catch up,

1st you know dad passed away well I have been to Adelaide and the funeral was well done I did a slide show as well as music we also had a poster made up for the funeral place to hang, it had Alex at 8 months on his lap :( he only got to meet one grandchild out of 2 :(

we got dads ashes back and did a small service at Grange jetty with mums ashes as well they both got scattered together the night was beautiful too,

my family got to meet miss Robyn too she met her auntie (My sister) Uncle and grandfather ( both DH family) so was good short sweet but good,

OK update on the lady of the year ( Miss Alex) we have had a bumpy road since Radiation feeding is an issue that we have had to cut right back on her feeds so she keeps it down ( still going on that slowly up the amount then have to step back again) she has thrown up 4 tubes so far and counting, radiation ended in July the 1st but still not the best pain meds at night to help sleep and Anti Nausea meds every 8 hrs to prevent the vomiting (OMG I feel so bad giving her all these drugs but know its for the best for her and Us :'(   ) she has lost wait again back under 19kg and hope we don't lose any more, we have had our first blood transfusion too and then her neutrophils dropped and had to keep everyone away :( if its not one thing its 100 but we are just pushing through she is such a strong little lady and is doing so well with it all ( hates Dr's Nurses and anyone that is new at the moment but that's hard as everyone new is someone that may hurt her with the treatment)
had chemo on Monday and we had to wait for blood results but the got lost TWICE! "what the" so in the end they did just the one dose that's done even with bloods not being good we now have the 2 does this Monday coming plus a CT scan to see how things are going,

last weekend we have a good friend up from Adelaide as well Miss Robyn's godfather, it was a short stay but DH needed the boy time (Me time hehe) and they went out to the bar for a few hours I also had a good friend over ( we had never met before this day though so was great to meet in person :) Miss Alex Had a ball playing Wii with everyone too.

Totally Lost :o(

I am totally lost at the moment trying to stay strong for the girls and sort out everything for my dad, I know when I do go down for the funeral its going to hit me hard so not looking forward to that, but at least Miss Robyn will be there to help me stay level headed. we also got a prelim coroners report and dad died from fresh water drowning :( but also had heart disease

we have started to organise the funeral it will be at fulham funerals in Underdale, a cremation, then at a later date will scatter dads ashes with mums,

found out through the bank that dad had no insurance covering his mortgage so they will be taking it out of the estate, and also no will has shown up so looking towards the public trustee, so just waiting on some legal advice to see what our next steps will be,

OK sorry its not much but am just so numb & my sister is also getting heavy with me on things just do not need it all at the moment, I love my sister but My family is here too

Radiation has finished

On a good note on the 1st of July Miss Alex had her last day at Radiation, the people from LA5 at RBH threw her a party too, lollies, balloons etc even a bear called bertrum bear ♥

She had a few side effects, like loose bowels and bad tummy pains plus nausea, but they are starting to pass now finally, she is so happy to be home and is enjoying driving Daddy up the wall with "Daddy Play the game" lol either the Wii on xbox she doesnt care as long as its about her and the game hehe,

we are off to an open day today so will get some photos of that too be good to get out she will miss out on some of the fun though like jumpy castle etc.

♥Dad Found♥

well my worst fears came to light on the 1st of July, My father's Body was found :( he had drowned in the Murray River South Australia, something we didn't need at this time.
so now I am trying to find will etc and well I am in QLD so its not an easy fete to do My sister is trying to help but losing it at Me and giving me the Miss Alex is fine just get down here (I can not leave my daughter, Hubby can not get time off at the drop of a hat and we can not afford the flights ),

so we have decided to put off Miss Alex's 5th birthday, and my 40th til I have got all this out of the way want to have a good birthday so think this is the way to do it.

now I will be heading to Adelaide with Miss Robyn and Hubby will stay home with Miss Alex as the Dr has said no to her traveling so we will abide by that, just need to get everything sorted and a funeral date then I am off to my Home state for a few days
