well we have an appointment with the school dentist next week but if we still need the anaesthetist she will be put on a waiting list as the RCH still have not got back to me yet
but at least that will be a savings as we would be waiting anyway due to saving the $$ for the teeth to be done, Oh well will see how it goes on Tuesday and what the dentist there decides.
the seminar was good but I already do most of it so will keep trying to get through to my Daughter (Robyn) and hope she grows out of it
chickens will be here tomorrow night after school hehe and then Rhee Taekwondo as we are looking at this as a family :)

Private dental to Public
I finally got a quote for Alex's teeth to be pulled $900+ :o so worked out what we would have to pay after health insurance and still $500 that we do not have and they want it paid up front so looked like next year with her having teeth aches all the time ARGH
anyway I decided to ring up the Queensland health and see about the school dental system 1. Alex has her own health care card due to us getting carers allowance ( this is not much but does take the edge of life etc) 2. she is a school child so if possible we may be able to get this done soon under the public system if not well will have to get a loan from the bank to cover the bill and get it done asap
I did call the RCH as well as she is a onco patient there so she may be able to go through their system Who Knows. but one less stress for the day
yes stress I had a melt down today due to so many things but this has helped calm me plus I am going to a seminar on Raising girls tonight with some mums from Alex's school as I am at a loss with Robyn she screams at me hits me Kicks and Bites me. also she is hurting Alex ALOT!!!!! and as Alex still has her port-a-cath it is scary sometimes when it gets knocked in a fight or accident, I am trying 2 different approaches
1. ignore her and keep doing the right thing with this she comes up and starts hitting or kicking me for attention
2. the time out chair this she screams for about 20-30 min + and when she is ready to say sorry or calm down with in minutes she is back to it
3. the reward system they get a gold coin ( pirate coins lol) and can trade them once they get 10 this is hard as Alex does get more for good deeds etc but we try and make it even so Robyn doesn't see favouritism, so she ends up winning us over!!! or you tell her to be good and she will say I am (yell it at you) but you just can not reason with her
I am so drained by it all that I end up yelling and this is something I DO NOT WANT TO DO!!! I so want to be the good mum and I so love both my girls but wow I have an angel and the demon from hell in 2 different children Robyn does have her good days though when she is so sweet and caring but she has meltdowns every day if things do not go to plan or her way!!!!!
any way we are all good Tired but good, still trying to work out what is going on about my dad's stuff etc but no one knows. I still worry and care about my sister but can not talk to her as I am over the blame I will except I have ruined her life by being the eldest and her sister she doesn't need me to drag her down to my sain level of Life ("insane, totally bonkers, But I'll tell you a secret all the great people are a little crazy" love that bit from Alice in wonderland :) my wording may not be exact)
moving on we are getting 2 chickens from the school Alex has asked for a black one and white one ( still yellow lol) here is a picture of them all at school

the girls got scooters last weekend 1 for Robyn finally toilet training and Alex being a great big sister. but Robyn had issues she always wants Alex's bike even if it says Alex go figure so they have no names now are are identical...

Some Normality
we are all doing well. Alex is back at school for the final term of school, she loves school too so that is a good thing... Alex's class are learning about life as in plants and animals so they are watching grass grow hehe plus they have been watching chickens hatch from eggs so far they have 12 with a few more to hatch and looks like we may be chicken sitting one weekend lol. that doesn't worry us as both Hubby and myself are farm bought up hehe.
Alex has her next scan in under 3 weeks and I know it will be stable but am worried after the last Ultrasound as they said it had grown... good thing I do know US are unpredictable
November is going to be busy too she has the CT on the 3rd then surgery to remove 2-3 baby teeth :( but the dentist thinks she will be good with the "sleepy gas" as alex calls it ( from the RCH DVD they hand out to kids and families its great ) she is back to swimming too and loving every moment of it,
yesterday her school had a working bee to help in their new library so I went in thinking I would stay 1-3 hours yeah right I left just before the 3pm school bell went so 9am - 3pm helping out, I do feel good that I have done something for the school... but Hubby thinks why we pay enough to send her there but I like the school its small and everyone knows each other, and when we move next I may go back to public but that will depend on where we are at the time. its not about the money but how she enjoys the place and I think she would not have come out of her shell at the public school as it was so big and scary for a 5 yr old :(
the weather has been full on here too Queensland is a semi tropical state of Australia well tropical more so as you go up higher we get the humidity here and the RAIN!!! hehe Rain yes well speaking of Rain we have had 200-400 millimetres in the last 3 days OMG and they are forecasting more for the inner southern part of the state with more floods so I got some washing done today and will bring it in soon as think the Dryer will be over used again ARGH!!!!! ROFL the energy company must love us lol.
Me and My studies well yeah slow but am learning new things assignment 1 due in just over a week and I am still playing with it assignment 2 is in 3 weeks so a little more time hehe. Oh well can only do as good as I am but want to do the best I can too... (please 3 yr old go to sleep tonight before 10pm so I can study more) Miss Robyn didn't want sleep last night ARGH and ended up in bed with Mummy and Daddy, plus as Alex Still Yes still has that dreaded Cough I was up a few times with her and also lay with her for an hour I love sleeping in her bed though she is so cute roles into me and squeezes mummy close ♥♥♥ it melts my heart ♥♥♥ she is a full on Mummies Girl now if I go out even only to the school after hrs she wants to be with me I thought Robyn was the mummies girl but she is very independent and also Loves her Daddy ♥♥
Robyn loves Child care now too so them moving her up was a good thing I no longer have a screaming child when I drop her in and she enjoys the day :)... she is also fully Toilet trained :) WooHoo no more nappies we still have accidents of a night though but hey I know older kids that wet the bed so we are still doing well.
not much else happening here sorry and no new Photos think I shared them all last time hehe but may try get a couple of the school chickens soon ♥

"Dreamworld" A wonderful Camp Quality Day ♥
Today we are at Dreamworld Thanks to Camp Quality, this weekend is also special as Daddy got home late Wednesday evening and we got to have a great family day together at the end of the school holidays, Alex goes back to school Monday so this is a great day for us all.
Last night started out good Both girls were ready for bath and bed when the hot water system died so no washing for anyone, dressed in their PJ's they went to bed easily and I did to hoping for a nice hot shower in the morning. Not to be
It was raining when I got up but this was not going to dampen our good day. so we all dressed for wet weather and with Charged camera and spare battery we started the day getting a plumber to fit the Water system while we were out( we can hope )
the drive was long due to the heavy rain but we all still held onto hope that the day ahead would be fun "wet or not". arriving at Dreamworld about 10am so we arrived early, we did have a 2 hr window to get there and meet the Camp Quality volunteers they were lovely and the girls loved talking to them :)
with the tickets we also got a meal fpass and it was nice to be able to enjoy the park with a small fund to eat when the girls wanted to
walking in we got the first Photo for the girls with the Koala's from Kodak.
then while deciding where to next we found Dora and Diego so they were the next photo :) then it was straight to Nickelodeon rides, Blues skidoo, sponge bob fly-pants, angry beavers etc and Robyn also got to go on the dodgems this time :)
heading on we went to see the Tigers think we missed the show but was good seeing the big majestic animals saunter around the enclosure and also one went for a swim :)..Alex found a camera Bag so we handed it in for the owners to pick up but they had just walked out so Hope they did get it back our good dead for the day...
moving on we went to the animal area and got to see snakes, a wombat, kangaroo's, Koala's, Crocodile's etc.. then went to the vintage cars drive, Alex Drove me this time and Robyn Drove Daddy ( she had been driving him mad all day so why not lol, but in saying that she did really miss him when he was away),
by the end the girls wanted more rides but I think it was time to leave, the skies decided to open full on by now too so we headed out to the car getting drenched but feeling good after a nice day out.
and we got home to ..................................................................................................................
