☆Anzac Day ☆

Well here we are nearing the End of April so far all is still going well for us here and it has started to get cooler typical QLD Australia weather we have Summer and winter but no real in between So April the nights have cooled lot and you can now sleep comfortably. both Girls have colds whish I am worried about but no temps just a cough so keeping an eye on that as it may not be a good thing for us :( now now with only 2 weeks to Make-a-wish
Alex has been learning about the universe at school too so we are hearing alot about sun and start etc its so cute to see her so open and wanting to learn :)  she is growing up to fast, she will be 6 in just over 2 months and we have her Make-a-wish in 2 weeks so lots of posts, Updates and Photos to follow, next scan is in may its just an Ultrasound and XRay then 6 weeks after that another CT I am so happy to say still no word so all is going well and tumors are Hopefully dead Cells!!!!!

This weekend we have Anzac Day Dawn service and as a Military family it means alot to us, both Hubby and myself have family that fought in WW1 and WW2 plus the other wars :( its about remembering our fallen etc

Friday the 23rd Hubby did a presentation and Alex's school she was looking forward to seeing her daddy at Prime time lol he did well considering it was a first as Alex is only in Prep and we have really only started to get use to the whole school thing but am glad she started this year as Last yr we probably would have done HOME SCHOOLING to keep her away from risk etc!!!  the school has assembly etc on Friday mornings with Prime time and this was hubby's spot this week plus all certificates etc are handed out to students that have done well, this day was all focused on the Anzac tradition etc and was a very moving morning, Hubby was presented with a certificate of thanks from the school captains and he was even moved by it all..

Sunday the 25th we had Dawn service at the School 4.20am and we had a very early start even earlier that if I had to be at the Hospital etc for surgery or tests etc they start at 6am so this was a major shock to us all so I was ready with Girls dressed in warm cloths and then bed early for all :) Hubby lead the Catafalque party (this is what this is sorry easier to post this than explain lol http://www.defence.gov.au/army/asod/documents/cerev1/20.pdf ) with 4 troops under him a first as he is now at that rank to do it :) then Breaky at the school home for a little then we will be off to base at the SGT mess ( this is the exclusive club  only Sgt, FSgt and Warrant Officers "SNCO" Senior Non commissioned Officers can get in where as the officers mess you can join so is not as exclusive as having to earn the rank ) but today is open to all ranks as its Anzac day
